The Petition: Ban Nuts and Nut Products from Airlines

In light of the national UK coverage of Amy's tragic story, The Amy May Trust has chosen to formally begin a petition to ban the consumption of nuts on an aircraft, and in doing so give air stewards the right to inform a passenger with externally purchased nuts that they are not at liberty to eat them while onboard.

An aircraft is a unique mode of transport from all other forms, which is why we feel this step could dramatically reduce the risk of a reaction to other nut allergy sufferers.
